Official Zakumi rules
The coefficient principle
You do not only choose teams: you rank them in your order of confidence.
Choose 12 teams in order of confidence
Before the competition starts, each player selects 12 nations. The chosen position becomes a coefficient: the nation in position 1 is your strongest favorite and is worth 12. The nation in position 12 is worth 1.
How points are calculated
Example: if you place France in position 1, it is worth 12. Each French victory therefore earns 12 points for your ticket. If you place Switzerland in position 12, it is worth 1. Each Swiss victory earns 1 point.
Why it is strategic
Tie-break question
In case of a tie between several players, the winner is the one whose prediction of the total number of goals is closest to the real competition total.
